Every tap and every character saves straight away on this phone, in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nobody else can read it, which also means nobody can recover it for you. It survives closing the tab, quitting Safari and restarting the phone. It does not survive a private tab, a different browser or device, or clearing website data.
